The reason why they started with this frame in the Squad room is because they had to wait until the big cop and Oswald got past the spot where Lovelady was supposed to be. That's because, if he was really there, they would have had to walk around him. They would have had to take a detour because of him.

But, they didn't take a detour. They walked straight down the lane because Lovelady was NOT there. And that's why they started this dog and pony show the way they did. However, they weren't thinking. They should have realized that story was that Lovelady was sitting there, and he heard them coming and then he saw them as they were approaching. How could he not?

Naturally, what he would have done was to get up and move out of the way. Who is going to sit there and let a procession of cops walk around him? But, if he nevertheless was sitting there, then one thing we can be sure of: he DEFINITELY would have glued his eyes on Oswald and kept them there. He would have done that without even thinking, without even deciding. It would have been an automatic reflex. And that's why this image is so wacky because there is no way he would be sitting there as stiff and immobilized as Whistler's Mother, just staring straight ahead at the wall like a zombie, when Lee Harvey Oswald had already passed him by. That idea has got no mo. It doesn't sell here; it doesn't sell in Peoria; and it doesn't sell anywhere. This is a FAKE image. Lovelady was NOT THERE. It was fabricated to sell the PLAID SHIRT, which Lovelady did not wear. And it is just a pile of crap. And these killers are never going to get away with it.
