Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. The Idiot does crack me up at times.
You've got it ass-backwards, Proscenium-stuffer. I understand that you think they should have found the 5 rounds earlier, and therefore, you think they just made it up.
But, they had NO REASON to make it up, you moron. It didn't do them any good. It would have been a fraudulent effort that accomplished nothing. And that's why you have to revisit your idea that the bullets could not have been overlooked until then.
What's more likely, that they didn't search his pockets right away (and I doubt it was the first time in police history that that happened) OR that they did a really dumb thing like claim he had loose bullets in his pocket when he didn't. He had bullets in the gun, so the weapon was loaded; it was ready for lethal action. And adding loose bullets in his pocket didn't incriminate him one bit more than the loaded gun did by itself. But yet, they did it anyway because it was like an episode of Car 54 Where Are You where cops do dumb things?
So, between those two choices, I really think they just didn't get around to searching his pockets until Sims and Boyd did it in connection with the line-up.
And remember something else, Backes: the default doesn't go to you. The burden of proof goes to you. That means you need really strong irrefutable evidence to accuse the Dallas Police of fraudulently claiming that Oswald had loose bullets in his pocket. But, you've got nothing! You think that just because you find it unusual that they wouldn't have searched him sooner that you've made your case, proved your point, and the rest of the world is now obliged to accept your rant? Screw you, Backes! I don't accept it. Your expectations of what cops should do and when they should do it mean nothing to me. In other words, your point isn't strong enough. It is not compelling. I am not obligated by it. I am free to reject it- and I do. And so do many others. You're just an idiot with an attitude.
