On 12th December, 1995, James Altgens and his wife were found dead in separate rooms in their home in Dallas. Kennedy researcher, John Kelin, argued that "the couple died from carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty furnace."

Whoah! That is a weird way to put it. Why not just say they died from carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty furnace? Why cite John Kelin, and why say that he "argued" it? Doesn't it sound like Simkin was trying to distance himself from the claim? Doesn't it sound like an admission of doubt? It sure does to me.
