bpete wants to dwell on the source of this gif. But, who cares? It's a clip from the movie, and that's all that matters. The movie is public domain. You can watch the whole thing on Youtube. Forget about who made the gif and focus on the content.
These were cops. Cops are observant. Cops ask questions. This was the most high-value assassin in the history of assassins. They reach a small, cramped room, and there's this guy sitting there, and nobody asks him who he is? And what he's doing there? They just ignore him?
This was a very small room. Look at this map of the homicide division.
Where you see the L is where Lovelady was sitting. Look how small that windowless room is. You can see the door that the big cop opened in order to talk to Fritz.
What possible reason would they have to place Lovelady way back there? Why would they separate him out from the others in his group to place him there? Obviously, there was no room for all of them back there. So why stick Lovelady there?
That room was packed. There were the cops, detectives, FBI agents, reporters, and cameramen. You can even see Jack Ruby milling around.
So, what was Lovelady doing in the deepest bowels of the Dallas PD? He had no reason to be there. He just had to make a brief written statement and get the hell out. They weren't going to bring him way back there just to do that. Surely, they kept them all together, took their statements, and then cleared them out. This was the inner sanctum of the homicide division of the Dallas PD where the most high- profile suspect in the history of crime was being processed. What reason was there to stick Lovelady at that desk? Who took him back there? He didn't get there by himself. Who told him to sit at that desk?
That doesn't even look like Lovelady. Billy Lovelady was a 26 year old man. Do you mean to tell me that that man looks to be 26? Look how slumped he is. He is sitting like an old man. That is not a 26 year old guy. Jesue Christie, I know what a 26 year old looks like. He is a lot older than 26. He isn't Lovelady, and he wasn't sitting there. He was implanted into the movie.
