Even though the colors are washed out, we can see still the Fedora Man as well as before. It's the Mother and Baby who are uniquely degraded. And it's because they aren't real. 

Backes, I shall continue hammering that into your brain: the Towner Mother and Baby were a photographic trick. They did not exist anywhere. They were added to the film in a vain attempt to authenticate the Altgens Mother and Boy.

God, they are so far from being the same, that you have got to be the dumbest fuck in the world to say that they are. You can see how towering and pointed the hat of the boy is on the right in contrast to the smaller showing on the left with the baby. You can see that he is wearing a denim jacket where the baby is in some kind of swaddling clothes. The Towner woman is in black; the Altgens mother is in white. The Towner woman has got a flat, off-color disc or what looks like a bald spot on top of her head. What that is is the remant of her flickering hand, the one that appears to be waving at Kennedy in the film. Notice how much of the Towner woman's naked shoulder is exposed, which is totally absent on the Altgens woman, who is wearing completely different clothes. They are miles from being identical; they aren't even close to being the same. They are diametrically at variance. 

You are so full of shit, Backes, it's embarrassing- for you. You reek. That you are willing to defend this shit only proves what a fake and a phony you are.
