And surely in this case, the benefit of the doubt doesn't go with Lovelady. Either there is a clear, unmistakable recognition of him or it doesn't count. Nothing close to the threshold exists.
The other version with DeNiro Lovelady was totally separate with no frames in common with this one. It's this version that involved real footage in which the Lovelady figure was implanted.
Also, bpete is denying that the big cop is talking to Will Fritz, but of course he is. He is obviously talking to someone. He has opened the door and is obviously interacting with someone. Will Fritz was in charge of the interrogation. What to do with Oswald was his decision.
But, the truth is that if it was someone else, it doesn't even matter. The point is that in this version of the film the big cop and Oswald move right, the door is open, and an interaction takes place where the big cop is obviously talking to someone. None of this happens in the other version. It is completely missing.
This whole sequence is completely different. There isn't one frame that is duplicated. It is a completely different movie. There are two distinct versions of the walk-by footage. Not one, but two. Not one frame is the same; the Lovelady figures are not the same; the lighting isn't the same. It's completely different.
But, I'm not conceding anything. In the first version on top where the big cop and Oswald move right, that is Will Fritz on the other side of that door. We can't see that it's him, but it is reasonable to think that it's him, and there is no one else it is more likely to have been but Fritz. The big cop is definitely talking to someone, and the odds are overwhelming that it was Fritz. This is just bpete being childish and stupid as usual.
Look at these two movies and notice that they are NOT the same thing shot from a different angle. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MOVIES. Utterly, completely, totally different movies. Even the men aren't the same.
