What's wrong with this picture?
Well, the red arrow can't be right because he's got it inside Will Fritz' office. Even according to his plan, and you can see how his little mind is working, but he had to make it longer to get it in the proper room. And when you do that, it turns out the red arrow and the green arrow are not that far apart; they are in about the same place; the difference is negligible.
So, according the bpete, they were squeezed in there at that bend, but at first were shooting down the length of the room at the big cop and Oswald when they were milling around the door of the far interview/supply room (which you don't even see in other versions of the film; they never make it there), but then after Oswald was moved into the interview room that was caddie-corner, they turned their cameras to that door. But how did that even happen? They were already shooting live, so why didn't they capture this translocation of Oswald from one end of the larger room to the other end, with a major reshuffling and re-herding of the whole procession of people, the walking back past Lovelady, and the necessity for themselves to clear out of the way in order to give access to that little room so that Oswald could be put into it. There were a lot of people involved, and there wasn't room in that little corner for everybody.
Now, this is the hard part for MacRae to understand, so concentrate, MacRae: Why were some photographers shooting other photographers who were shooting Oswald? And what happened to the big cop in the white hat and cops in suits that were following him? Did they leave, to leave the photographers to shoot at Oswald and other photographers to shoot at them, in a frenzied round-robin of shooting?
Why does anyone think they can make sense of this when in other versions of the film, we don't even see the big cop and Oswald milling around that far room, and we don't even see the photographers shooting the other direction where other photographers are shooting at them. If this particular version is correct, then all the others are bull shit since they show something else.
This version doesn't show either one. It doesn't show the big cop and Oswald milling at the far door, and it doesn't show the photogs milling at the other nearer door. Both are completely missing.
None of it happens at all. Do you see now why I say that there are different versions of the walk-by footage, and I mean completely different version with none of the same content? And why assume that you can make sense of that other one when it's so different from this one?
The only thing you can gather when you see these is that there are distinctly different versions of the film, involving distinctly different Loveladys, and something is terribly wrong. And in the latter one the whole transition from one end of the room to the other is unshown and inexplicable, notwithstanding bpete's rote, childish explanation, in which he thinks he's got it all figured out and making sense in a simplistic way. But, like most simplistic explanations, it doesn't really work, and it doesn't at all suffice.
Here's a gif that somebody made which shows Lovelady's elbow showing amidst the photogs.
What's weird about this is that it's a merging of the two different versions of the film. It starts with DeNiro sitting there in focus, and what happens next with him is the big linebacker cop gets in the way, and then it breaks to a newscaster, and that's it. It doesn't even go to the photogs, so this approximation doesn't make sense. But, if that's his elbow on the table, look how the photogs are well forward of him, and that makes bpete's little arrows all off.
But, where did this even come from? We don't see Lovelady's elbow in the version of the film in which the photogs occur.
So, what is this, just more fakery?
And if not, then where does it place those photogs now?
If those photogs are deeper in the room than Lovelady, where he is behind them, doesn't it mean that MacRae's arrows need to be reworked?
We should stop thinking that any of this works, that there are tidy neat little answers for any of it. It's just a bunch of bull shit.
By the way, if you do a search for "Lovelady in the squad room with Oswald" on Yahoo, look what you get:

The first listing for me is the Oswald Innocence Campaign, our Lovelady page. We are indeed well-placed. And look what else I found:
Is that Joseph Backes asking for a source for the film of Oswald going past Lovelady into Fritz's office?
And here's an interesting post from David Lifton:
Other than the fact that, around 1972/73 (when working on Executive Action), I
came across this footage of Oswald being brought into the DPD and being marched
by Lovelay, this has really not been my "speciality." But. . I have always been
intereted in understanding why Lovelady lied and said e was wearing a red and
white striped shirt that day, when he obvioiusy was not. (The best I have been
able to come up with is that he really wanted to distance himself from Oswald,
and so did not tell the truth about the clothing he was actually
wearing).

So, Lifton does think that Lovelady said he wore the short-sleeved red and white striped shirt that day but that he lied. Huh. That's interesting, and pretty wild too if you ask me. I wonder how many want to back David Lifton up on that.
You can read through this whole ignorant exchange on Education Forum if you want:
but if you don't go to Lovelady impostor in a staged fabrication, you are never going to figure out what it means.
And here's a cool ink about LHO being in the doorway, not liar Billy Lovelady:

See how it's spreading?
The bottom line is that it's all fakery. Doorman being Lovelady is fakery. Lovelady milling around outside the TSBD after the assassination is fakery. Lovelady being seated at the Dallas PD and being passed by Oswald is fakery. It's all fakery. Oswald was the Doorway Man. The guy is wearing Oswald's clothes and has Oswald's features. All the Lovelady claims are bull shit.
