According to Mike Shapiro of WFAA, the Altgens photo was wired first to AP headquarters in New York and then subsequently to other AP offices around the country. The implication is that it was limited to that. Surely, you recognize that there was a time gap between wiring it to New York and wiring it elsewhere. What would be the point if it was wired to the whole world at the same time it was wired to New York?

And if Altgens6 had been wired everywhere at 1:00, it would have appeared in all the late afternoon and evening papers on 11/22 and the special editions.

Altgens6 was NOT wired to the world at 1:00. They were busy altering it at 1:00, and it must have taken at least a couple hours. Maybe three.
