This is a very well-circulated gif online. And it's very good except for one thing: they've got the wrong guy as Lovelady. They're saying that Lovelady was Obfuscated Man when actually he was Black Hole Man. And it's very easy to tell that I'm right.

Obfuscated Man is wearing a white shirt and tie, and you know Lovelady wasn't dressed like that. He wasn't management. He was a warehouse worker. He spent the morning laying flooring. So, Ob Man could not possibly have been Lovelady.

And the other thing is that they certainly did not move the whole face of Lovelady over to Doorman. They just moved Lovelady's "cap" over: his forehead, his hairline, and the top of his head. The lower part of Doorman's face is completely Oswald.

And yet, I still like this collage because it demonstrates the essential thing they did, which was to convert Oswald into Lovelady- even though they didn't get the details quite right.

And the other reason I like it is because it is a call to arms to fight for Oswald in the doorway which has nothing to do with me. In fact, I am pretty sure it pre-exists me. But, I'm seeing it posted more often now, on Facebook pages and elsewhere, and that's because the whole idea of Oswald in the doorway has gained momentum. And I don't mind saying that I have had something to do with that. In fact, is there anyone in the entire JFK blogosphere who is not aware that controversy about the identity of Doorway Man is raging and that more people than ever are saying that he was Oswald?

Well, there might be one or two, but there can't be many. Doorman is back. And he is back for good. He is back for keeps.
