If anyone is going to try to claim a plaid shirt on Doorman, they really need to go with this image of Lovelady's plaid shirt, and no other.
It really isn't fair to use an image of Lovelady from 1976 because, obviously, in that amount of time there was ample time to replace the shirt. But, the image on the right was supposedly taken just minutes after the Altgens photo, and no one could argue that Lovelady changed from one shirt to another.
Exactly when the Martin post-assassination footage was taken is open to debate. It occurred after they had a police checkpoint set up to control ingress and egress from the TSBD. It definitely wasn't immediately, but it was surely within less than an hour. I think that if we assigned a time interval of 30 minutes, we'd be pretty close to the reality- give or take 10 minutes.
So, obviously, Lovelady had no means to change his shirt in that much time. Over 13 years time, he could replace the shirt, but not 30 minutes time. So, this is really the image that should be used to compare the shirts. And what happens when we blow it up?
It is not too bueno for the official story. No plaid, no plaid, no plaid, no plaid. But, don't worry about it. That guy wasn't Lovelady anyway, which is to say that neither of them was Lovelady.
