On McAdams' forum, they have been hammering the idea that the disputed figure from outside the TSBD was not George HW Bush, but rather, was Dallas Detective Gus Rose.

They've got several different threads going talking about it, and they all sound adamant, except that nobody posted an image of Gus Rose.

Well I found an image of him, and I put it alongside images of Bush and the disputed figure.

I was shocked when I saw that because Gus Rose doesn't come close to looking like the other guy. Rose's face is, for lack of a better word, square-shaped. It's like a box. It's almost as wide as it is long. But George HW Bush and the disputed figure both have a long, narrow faces, which goes along with having a tall, lanky body.

I've pointed out for a long time that Bush, being left-handed, and being a very active athletic man, has a high left shoulder and low right shoulder. The disparity got great by the time he got old, but it's also visible in the doorway. But Gus Rose appears to have a higher right shoulder. The difference is slight, but it still counts. I'd be willing to betthat Gus was right-handed, like most people, as opposed to Bush and the doorway figure, who both show signs of being left-handed.

This is not a close call at all. The disputed figure is definitely a better match to Bush than to Rose. This one is put to bed, and after seeing this, no one should have any reason or inclination to claim that it was Rose again.
