Aha! Take this, Backes, and it's from John Armstrong. He wrote it to me, but he's talking about you.

Ralph,

One response to the people who believe that Oswald (Harvey)  got into the Rambler would be to ask how he could be wearing a brown shirt in the TSBD, a white t-shirt when getting into the Rambler, and a brown shirt when entering 1026 N. Beckley. And, if LHO got into the Rambler, then the driver was an accomplice and this is absolute proof of a conspiracy.

These people are usually looking for something to hang their hat on. The problem is that the only way they can make their scenario fit is to call everyone in sight a liar.

This reminds me of the first or second time that I visited Jim Marrs' JFK class in Arlington, TX. Dr. Crenshaw was an invited guest and spoke to the class. Two men, Dave Perry and Gary Mack, sat together and ridiculed and laughed and disrupted Crenshaw's entire presentation. I, and many other class members, felt like telling Perry and Mack to X?#@&%!!, but we held our tempers and voiced our concerns to Jim Marrs after the class ended.

These type of people are exactly why I do not post on forums. For most reasonable people, the documents and witness testimonies will prevail over the ridiculous claim that everyone related to a particular incident was lying. When you see people use words like "he/she was too old, his/her memory was obviously faulty, he/she was confused, they talked/persuaded him/her to testify, he/she was confused, etc.", then you quickly realize these type of people have nothing whatsoever on which to base their conclusions. They will argue endlessly, try to shout you down, try to belittle you, and they won't give up until you agree with them. The only thing you can do is either ignore them (which is what I do) or remind the reader or forum member that the entire basis for their claim rests upon calling everyone involved a liar. Ask them to provide documentation to support their position that everyone is lying. And every time they continue with such posts, continue asking for documentation to support their position.

Ralph, I do not envy you or anyone who engages in never-ending arguments with these people, but you can now better understand why I chose, long ago, not to participate. John
