Those two ears are lightyears apart, and you can't make excuses for it. And note that bpete hunted and pecked to find what he thought were the most diverse looking ears for DeNiro. It isn't even representative.

There is no problem rectifying DeNiro's left ear, and the minor angular differences in no way rival the immense divide between these two ears:
