A lot of people are getting fake emails, and that includes me. Today, I received this, supposedly from Jim Fetzer:

Just what in the damn hell do you think you're doing? You are making the group   out to look like a bunch of amateurs. Please stop with the fake emails, I think 

they are on to your antics. Stay on point my boy, we are almost to  Santa Barbara!Don't ruin it now!

Well, not being an idiot like bpete, I immediately suspected it was fake. So, I 

contacted Jim, and he confirmed that he didn't send it. I don't know who is doing it, and I don't know if it is just one person. Maybe  it's more than one. 

Then bpete posted the following that he received:

Now, why would whoever sent that say that? I don't think he has a   means of going on McAdams' forum masquerading as me. If he had the  means to do that, he'd have  done it by now. And I know it hasn't happened. And I assure you that I am never going to confess to sending those letters since I didn't send them. Not any of them. So, that  was a bogus offer on the imposter's part. 

If bpete had even average intelligence, he would realize that he is being had.
