Let's face it: anyone who is a JFK truther- who advocates that Oswald was framed and innocent- should be appalled by the movie Four Days in November. And that includes the lofty script by Theodore Strauss. All that lofty, airy eloquence only made it more nauseating and disgusting to a JFK truther.
Oswald was framed and innocent. Even Joseph Backes will tell you that Oswald was framed and innocent. He even thinks that they framed Oswald, not just for killing Kennedy and Tippit, but for riding a bus and cab. He believes that this is something the Dallas Police put into operation against Oswald from the moment that they captured him. So, how does all that lofty eloquence play in light of that?
It was produced in cooperation with United Press International. It lists as one its sources the Warren Commission. They admit that some of the scenes were recreated, which is to say, phony. But, they don't say which ones. Do you think maybe the scene of some photogs shooting other photogs was phony? Because that doesn't seem like something that would really happen to me. It seems like storytelling.
Did you know that they got Elmer Bernstein to compose the music for it? Wow, they really went all out because he is one of the greatest cinema composers of all time and a favorite of mine.
Now here's something interesting. Go to the 13 minute mark and listen to Police Chief Curry's speech expressing concern about someone in Dallas wanting to hurt or disrespect the President. Does he sound like someone who had foreknowledge of the assassination? I honestly don't think so. We shall continue.
