Here is a good observation:

Notice that in the recreation, we are seeing much more of the Obelisk. We are seeing three sides of it instead of two. That's because the photographer who is capturing her in the picture was standing to her right. So, we are seeing it from his position, not hers. Was she in the exact spot that she stood? I don't know for sure, but I'm not assuming there was any subterfuge going on. I'm just saying that one could easily confirm her spot on 11/22/63 by duplicating the geometry of the obelisk that is exposed in the Towner frame. If you see any of that third panel, you know you have to move over.
