We took a poll tonight on the LHO is Innocent Facebook page as to whether the Altgens Doorman was Oswald or not, and I posted this collage to go with it.
I keep fluctuating about which is my favorite Oswald/Doorman collage, but this is one is always in the running and close to the top. The votes were unanimous, 12 to 0, that it was Oswald in the doorway. One member abstained because he felt that there were other issues more important to establishing Oswald's innocence, and that was duly noted.
Note that this is a group that is organized around Oswald's innocence but not about him being in the doorway. But, when you show people this collage and others like it, they very easily conclude that it was Oswald in the doorway. Why? It's because they know that that much likeness between two individuals is highly unlikely under any circumstances. They know that people are genetically, and therefore, physically unique, and they also know that the world of clothing, including men's clothing, is inexhaustibly varied. It is just not possible that Billy Lovelady looked that much and dressed that much like Lee Harvey Oswald on 11/22/63. Forget it; it just could not have been.
So, I am not saying that it could have been Oswald, or that it might have been Oswald. I am saying that it was Oswald. Period. There is no doubt about it. It can't not be him. Maybe in another universe, but not this one. You don't get that much likeness between two co-workers at a warehouse on the same day. So just stop it; it's over. The nonsense is over. You may not like that it's Oswald in the doorway, but it is. And it always will be.
