Backes:

The Idiot Backes thinks that this is the muzzle flash. But, in that case, the shot has been fired. People have heard it, so why isn't there the slightest sign of reaction or startle on anyone's face? And Oswald has had a bullet tearing through his upper abdomen bursting his aorta and his vena cava, so how could he still be standing there like nothing is wrong?

Bullets travel pretty fast, you know, Backes, and this was practically a contact shot. So, how could there be no reaction by anybody, especially Oswald?
