I'll repost this myself, Backes, because it's just as true today as it was when it first appeared. Oswald could NOT have taught himself Russian. It is impossible for that to have happened.
Backes, you couldn't learn to play Tic-Tac-Toe on your own, so stop presuming that Oswald could teach himself Russian.
So, how did Oswald learn Russian? John Armstrong is correct: Oswald learned Russian as a child. He didn't learn it in Japan while living in tents on remote islands. He learned it the way every child learns his or her primary language. There were two Oswalds, and that is an absolute fact.
