Reporter: Did you shoot the President?

Oswald: I didn't shoot anybody.

Another reporter: Did you shoot the President?

Oswald: I didn't shoot anybody, and I haven't been told what I am here for.

A third reporter: Did you shoot the President?

Oswald: No, they're taking me in because of the fact that I lived in the Soviet Union.

A fourth reporter: Did you kill the President?

Oswald: No, I have not been charged with that. In fact, nobody has said that to me yet. The first time I heard about it was when the newspaper reporters in the hall asked me that question.

"I don't know what dispatches you people have been given, but I emphatically deny these charges. I have NOT committed any acts of violence." -- Lee Harvey Oswald
