Harold Weisberg knew about the Two Oswalds
John Armstrong sent me the link to this radio interview of Harold Weisberg in which he says that the Oswald at Atsugi, Japan was NOT the same man who went to Russia and worked at the TSBD.
The following was written by the man who sent it to John.
John,
I originally heard this 1988 interview with Harold Weisberg (in CD form) years
ago, and I just came across the relevant portion again.
Beginning at the 0:45 mark, Weisberg reveals that he knew about the Two
Oswalds! He attaches great importance to finding the anonymous Marine who
served with "Oswald" in Japan who said that "the Warren Commission "Oswald"
is not the "Oswald" I knew" . . .
Later in another portion of this interview, Weisberg pleads with the radio audience
to help him locate the anonymous Marine who had contacted him in 1966. It's
clear from the interview that back in 1966, Weisberg didn't understand the
significance of the Marine's statement. But by 1988, Weisberg not only understood
the true meaning, he, Weisberg, was desperate to talk to that guy again.
John, to me this is unequivocal confirmation that you are correct.
