Paul Popa is leaving tomorrow morning, and I convinced him to do one more song with me before he goes. This one is a classic from the 1960s, and it is very nostalgic for me. It takes me back to High School. That's Canoga Park High School in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. Every Friday night, they would have a dance, and different bands would alternate playing. But, there was one song that every band played, and that's this song. And when they played it, the couples would stream onto the dance floor in droves because it was considered the most romantic love song of all. It is: This Magic Moment by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman and recorded most famously by The Drifters.

So, if you are an oldster like me, see if this doesn't take you back. With Paul Popa on guitar, and Ralph Cinque on piano vocals, here is This Magic Moment
