How good are you at estimating ages? This is supposed to be 26 year old Billy Lovelady. Does he look 26? I realize his head is turned away, but there is a tone and carriage- a lightness of being- that young people have that they lose as they get older. 26 is pretty darn young, and this guy is no 26 year old. He appears to be middle-aged. He might be 36, but he is definitely not 26.
And while you're at it, what is his right elbow resting on? You can see that his left elbow is resting on the table, but what is his right elbow resting on? It's nowhere near the table. It's miles from the table. Is it resting on the armrest of his chair? But, his chair doesn't have armrests because if it did, we'd see the left armrest, and we don't. Is his right arm in his lap? It can't be because then it would be much lower than his left arm, and you can see that his two hands are juxtaposed; they are at the same level. That means that his left elbow must be at the same level as his right elbow. But, what is it resting on? Is it just levitating? Suspended in mid-air?
And look at his shirt. Is there any reason to doubt that it was not splayed open? You are seeing the entire left side of his chest, and you're seeing part of the right side as well. In other words, you are seeing about 3/4 of his chest there, and his shirt is not splayed open. So, how could he be Doorman, and how could he be that other guy whose shirt was spread apart?
This is a bogus image. He wasn't there. Nobody was at that desk. They pieced his image into the film. It wasn't even the kind of desk where anyone would sit. It was more of a supply table than a desk. It was right in the lane of traffic. It would have been impossible for anybody to get by him. Physically, there was no room; they would have had to climb over him or go around him.
I know it seems wild that they would actually have done this, but they actually did. They really did. And they were counting on you to think that it's just too far-fetched to entertain.
