INSANITY: Oswald was one of several shooters

The idea that Oswald was one of several shooters is so insane, it is incredible that anyone believes it. They are forgetting that Oswald was a Marine, but he was never in combat. He had no experience at killing people. It is a whole different thing firing at a paper target and firing at a real live human being. He had NO experience at the latter, so, why would anyone have assigned him to this task and thought that he could do it? Was there a shortage of real assassins in 1963?

The mechanics of shooting from a cramped window at a moving target from a steep angle- and having to refind the target twice after cocking the bolt, and all in less than 6 seconds- is something that Oswald had NEVER done.  He had never done anything remotely like it. He had zero practice sessions. The whole feel of it was completely foreign to him. It was a completely unfamiliar unknown. So, why would they have put Lee Harvey Oswald up there when the Mafia and the CIA had a long list of honed assassins who had the skill, the experience, and the temperament to do this, all of which Oswald lacked?

If Oswald did this at the behest of someone else, such as the Mafia or the CIA, it still requires that he have a motive to do it. A person does not kill on behalf of another without being compensated in some way. Usually, that compensation takes the form of money, but there is no evidence that Oswald received any money; there is no evidence that he was promised any money; and there is no evidence of any pending transfer of money to him from any party. So, what was Oswald's motive for being willing to kill Kennedy on behalf of the Mafia or the CIA? Are we supposed to believe that, Oswald, upon request, would kill anybody for any reason- that you only had to ask? Are we supposed to believe that of all the JFK shooters? That none of them got paid, that they all did it for the sheer sport of it and the love of killing? Or, are we supposed to believe that the other shooters got paid, but just Oswald did it for free because he was, after all, Lee Harvey Oswald?

Remember that there were two skill-sets involved in this endeavor: one is the specific marksmanship skills of a sniper, which was not part of Oswald's meager training. And "meager" is the right word because he only did the minimal amount of shooting required by the Marines. And post-Marines (from July 1959 onward) he did NO shooting at all except to go hunting in Russia with his pals -using shotguns. But, the second skill-set involves the nerves of steel to be unthrown, unphased, and unjolted by the gravity of killing another human being and in cold blood.

I'm sure that a lot of us could kill in self-defense or in defense of another, but this was polar-opposite to that. This was cold-blooded murder. What basis was there to think that Oswald was honed and qualified to do that? He had just spent three years in the Soviet Union, and nothing that he did there could have prepared him for this. And, it was less than a year and half that he was back, and nothing he did in that year and a half could have prepared him for it either since he never shot a gun in that period that we know of- except for one visit to a shooting range that involved not him but an Oswald impostor. (See JFK and the Unspeakable by James Douglass)

So, if fatally hitting the intended target and not hitting others was at all a value for the CIA or the Mafia or whomever you think put Oswald up to shooting Kennedy, WHY WOULD THEY HAVE CHOSEN OSWALD WHEN THEIR WORLD WAS AWASH WITH REAL ASSASSINS?

The utter brainlessness of this contention- that Oswald was one of several shooters- is so extreme that one has to wonder about the mindset of those who advocate it. I mean: it is SO stupid that one has to wonder if even they believe it. Are they really that stupid, or are they just wickedly trying to deflect from what really happened?

And what really happened is that Oswald was NOT a shooter, and he had NO explicit knowledge of the assassination plot. He did NOT own a rifle. He did NOT bring one to work. He ate lunch in the Domino room around 12:20 in the presence of Junior Jarman and Harold Norman, and then he went out into that doorway to watch the President ride by. And those are the facts of the case.
