Tom Rozoff : The false defector program in part was just to see how the Russians would react to an American defecting to Russia. He may not have supplied any intelligence info. Join the Marines and tell them you need to get out because your mother hurt her nose. See how that works out for you.

Randy Gunter Jim and Elsie Wilcott (CIA paymasters) both confirmed they witnessed Oswalds name and info on CIA pay vouchers while Oswald was at Atsugi. Their story is well chronicled in JFK and the Unspeakable. They suffered much for telling the truth.

Ralph Cinque Tom, I think that is a very, very good statement, and I shall repeat it, that the false defector program was just about seeing how the Soviets would react to an ordinary American citizen defecting to Russia and not to obtain specific intelligence info. I agree.

I am also back on Randy Gunter's Facebook group which is called The Kennedy Assassinations, although it is mostly about JFK. But, the statement by Tom Rozoff really hit the nail on the head of what the purpose of the Oswald Project was. It wasn't to gather intelligence. It was just to find out how the Soviets would react to an ordinary American defecting.
