Thank you for your elegant tribute to Mark Lane whose death deeply saddens me. I worked with Mark early in his investigation of the Kennedy assassination. Our cooperative effort persisted through our joining with Jim Garrison in Jim's prosecution of Clay Shaw.
Because of geography which separated us, I cannot claim to have been one of Mark's close friends, I was proud to support his early and successful efforts to expose the fraud of the Warren Commission. I remain to this day one of his thousands of admirers. I sincerely feel that our society is indebted to Mark Lane for his heroic and scholarly work to reveal to us through his writings and speeches the truth of the warfare state's crime of assassinating our peace-loving President Kennedy.
