I mentioned that I watched quite a bit of the programming on 9/11 for the 15th anniversary, and there wasn't one word said, not even in passing, about the existence of the 9/11 truth movement, in which millions of people believe that the towers were imploded.
Most of the programming had to do with lauding individuals for selfless and heroic acts on 9/11.
Do you recall that on 9/11, they actually tried to have a flag-raising stunt to rival the famous one at Iwo Jima? And then, like at Iwo Jima, the flag got lost, and there was a big search to find it, which ended successfully. There is a lot of suspicion that the Iwo Jima one was staged. The 9/11 one was definitely staged.
Let's look historically at the issue of dissent. After the JFK assassination, there was some tolerance for airing dissent. I think the most famous thing I can think of was the long series of debates between William F. Buckley and Mark Lane, which were televised. Do I have to point out that no such thing would ever be allowed today? And, that's true for both JFK and 9/11. Again, on 9/11, there wasn't one word said on any station about the existence of 9/11 dissent. And very largely, the same is true of JFK dissent. If the media brings up dissent about the JFK assassination, they always frame it as "many don't believe that Oswald acted alone." They don't acknowledge the existence of an Oswald innocence movement, even though the vast majority of those who dispute the official story of the JFK assassination do so on the basis of Oswald innocence. In other words, they are practicing denialism; acting like something doesn't exist.
And the reason why is because it's just too dangerous to the stability of the government. Remember what I said last night, and I meant it then and I mean it now: PEOPLE KNOW, IF ONLY INTUITIVELY, THAT IF OSWALD DIDN'T KILL KENNEDY, THEN THE U.S. GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE DONE IT.
Either Oswald did it alone, or the government did it. It's that simple. And since they don't want people even broaching the idea that the government did it, Oswald's innocence has to be abolished from the social conscience like a prohibited thought in George Orwell's world.
So, what is going to happen on November 22 this year? It's only two months away. Here's my prediction: very little. I suspect it is going to be one of the quietest, if not the most quiet JFK commemoration ever. And that's for two reasons: one, we're looking at the 53rd, which is a drab number. But, the second thing is that the Presidential election is on November 8, just two weeks ahead of it. And, no matter which way the election goes, it's going to be very tumultuous and divisive. What I mean is that if the Trump supporters don't get what they want, they are NOT going to rally around Hillary for the sake of national unity. Likewise, if the Hillary supporters don't get what they want, they are not going to rally around Trump for the sake of national unity. The country is going to be deeply divided after this election. And that is going to overshadow the 53rd anniversary of the JFK assassination.
There are so many lies about so many things, that it's hard to keep track of them all. But, I think it's fair to say that the two official stories that are the most widely contested and disputed are the JFK assassination and 9/11. In other words, among those who deeply believe that government and media lie to us, that JFK and 9/11 are the two most striking and visible examples. And that is likely to remain the case.
This is an interesting time to be alive, and it is also a very volatile time. The economy NEVER recovered from the Financial Crisis of 2007. Things never got back to "normal." And, there really is no sign that they are going to get back to normal. Distrust of government and media has never been greater. Incredulity towards what government and media say has never been greater. Many people fear that there is going to be a collapse. I hope there isn't because that would be painful. But, the collapse of government and media lies would be a good thing in any scenario, and that I am looking forward to, especially the collapse of the official stories of the JFK assassination and 9/11.
