In the taped interview, Wesley Frazier says, at the end, that Oswald was innocent. He said that there is no way that a disassembled Mannlicher-Carcano rifle could have fit into the bag that he saw.

So, that makes Wesley Frazier an Oswald defender. However, he won't be welcomed into the Oswald Innocence Campaign until he comes around and admits that the man in the doorway was Oswald.

But, I'll say this for him; he seems like a nice guy. And, I have a feeling that if I could see that down with him for half an hour, I could convince him that the Doorman was Oswald.

We're all creatures of habit; we're all fixed in our ways- to varying degrees. Frazier has been vested in the Lovelady-as-Doorman belief for so long, 50 years, that he may have a lot of psychological resistance to letting it go. It would mean admitting to himself and the world that he was wrong for 50 years.

But, I still think that if I could show him all of the matches to Oswald, including the spot-on match of the clothes, including the outer shirt and the notched t-shirt, and also the facial features, including eyes, nose, mouth, and chin. I would point out the slender build. And last but not least, I would point to the hand-clasping in front, which was Oswald's stance- not Lovelady's. I would explain how he was fooled by the hairline, which they moved over.

They altered the photo, Wesley. On the left it must have looked before they messed with it.

And then I would explain to him that Lovelady said that he was "on your top level" at the time of the shooting. And I would explain how the man in the Altgens photo really was standing in the center, not over by the wall. If he's a reasonable man, he'll listen. Maybe someday I'll get the chance.
