Lovelady was NOT in that spot, and there is absolutely no doubt about that. You only have to read his testimony. Or read Shelley's. Or read Frazier's. Lovelady was gone, and he was soon inside. He was NOT milling around outside. 

Therefore, Gorilla Man was NOT Lovelady and COULD NOT be Lovelady, and there is no good reason to think that he just happened to be there that day wearing a plaid shirt. The clip wasn't even seen and recognized until 1966- three years later. And it wasn't even seen in the Martin film, but rather, in various compilations.

Lovelady wasn't there, and this guy wasn't there, and this guy wasn't Lovelady.
