This Lovelady figure is impossible. How could he possibly have a rectangular opening to his shirt?

Look at Lovelady when he posed. He didn't have a rectangular opening. He had a triangular one, and that complies with the laws of physics.

You see? It's triangular. Let's try another:

You see? It's triangular. Physics demands it because you have the secured button which is holding the shirt together, and above it the shirt starts splaying open on both sides, and it results in a triangular-shaped opening. Let's try another:

You see? Triangular. Let's do one more.

Again, triangular. It is how a partially unbuttoned shirt behaves. So, how did his opening wind up rectangular? Show me one other photo like it in all the world.

It's rectangular at the bottom of the splay. It's supposed to start at the highest secured button and spread open to each side. So, how can it possibly look like that. Show me one other shirt that looks like that from the entire history of the world.
