James Bookhout never served in the US Military. Makes you wonder why he bothered with all that ROTC training in high school. And when he joined the FBI, he was already a lawyer. Already a lawyer, and, he worked as a lawyer for the FBI. He was never an Elliot Ness kind of agent.
Don't we have the right to assume that he was not a gun fighter? That he had no experience pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger?
So, why would he be entrusted to actually shoot and kill Oswald? As if anyone can do that? As though nothing could go wrong?
James Bookhout's shooting of Oswald in the garage was a ruse, and Oswald was killed afterwards in the PD.
