Since Paul Popa is leaving tomorrow, we decided to record one more song before he goes. Paul is the owner of a building restoration company. His company restores big tall old buildings. It is a company that his father handed down to him and which he will hand down to his son. The song we did is On Broadway, which was made famous by The Drifters in 1963. But, it was actually written by four people: Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil, Jerry Leiber, and Mike Stoller.

Now, here's something you probably don't know: the guy who played the lead guitar so beautifully in the Drifters' version of the song was a young Phil Spector. He's the guy who got convicted of murdering an actress in his mansion in Alhambra, California in 2003, and he is currently serving time in a California State Prison. He is now 77 years old, and he won't be eligible for parole for another 11 years.
