I am increasingly convinced that the whole Prayer Man idea is being pushed just to create noise: noise that will distract from Oswald in the doorway as the Altgens Doorman.

And if they could come up with another idea, say, that he was the Milk Man, they would do that too.

And, it's not the first time that it has happened.

During the HSCA, they got Carolyn Arnold to change her story (after over 5000 days) and start saying for the first time that she saw Oswald in the 2nd floor lunch room at 12:25. Four days after the assassination, she told an FBI agent that she believed she saw Oswald at the doorway (right inside the glass, looking out) shortly before the motorcade arrived. The agent put a time of 12:15 on it, but Professor Gerald McKnight is convinced that he did that out of convenience-- to leave Oswald enough time to get up to the 6th floor. But really, it is, and was, ridiculous because if Oswald was at the doorway at 12:15 looking out, it's only an assumption that as soon as the clock struck 12:15, he dashed up to the 6th floor. Do you know the principle of inertia in physics, that a body in motion stays in motion, and a body at rest stays at rest? Well, if Oswald was at the doorway at 12:15, there's no basis to help yourself to the assumption that he immediately left after Carolyn Arnold saw him.

And wiser minds than that guy must have realized it because they weren't happy. The FBI got Carolyn Arnold to change it in March 1964 and say that she didn't see Oswald at all. And even with that, the FBI did NOT not recommend her as a witness to the Warren Commission, and they passed on her.

But then in 1978, the HSCA was going on, and Oswald in the doorway was back in the spotlight. So, they finagled Earl Golz, a Dallas reporter, to interview Carolyn Arnold, and she started saying for the first time that she saw Oswald in the 2nd floor lunch room at 12:25.

Now, why was that good for the government? It was good because it wasn't true. Oswald made it very clear that he ate his lunch in the first floor lunch room, otherwise known as the domino room. And he always ate his lunch there. Every single day, that is where he ate his lunch. There is NO CHANCE he ate in the 2nd floor lunch room. The grunt workers ate downstairs; the office workers ate upstairs. That's how it was. But, if you can get people to believe a falsehood, then it's safe for you, the liar. And that's because you know that falsehoods are never going to do anything but mislead. And in this case, if they could get the people who wanted, who insisted on believing that Oswald was innocent and was somewhere other than the 6th floor, to believe that he was in the 2nd floor lunchroom eating, then that would be far better than them believing the truth, that he was in the doorway.

So, that was the reason for it. And likewise, the reason the Ops today are all so supportive of Prayer Man is NOT because they believe in it, but because it is an alternative to Oswald as the Altgens Doorman, which is the truth.  And of course, the photographic comparison of the man and the clothing, is so good, it is staggering. It is breathtaking.

Same face. Same clothes. Same build. Same man. Case closed.
