No claims about the Garage Shooter having spoken should be believed. That's because we have the films, including the KRLD, in which Tom Petit immediately interviewed the witnesses who were closest to the action, and not one said that that shooter said anything. And surely they would have said so if he did. So for someone to come along later, like Pete Worthington, and say that he heard the shooter say, "I'm Jack Ruby" you know he was spewing bull shit. And unfortunately, there are a quite a few of such false and bogus testimonies. 

The Garage Shooter said NOTHING. You hear me? I said: nothing. Absolutely nothing. He lunged. He fired at Oswald from the side. Then he pivoted to get in front of Oswald and his back to the camera. And then he dove into the swarm of police. And that is it. That was the totality of his actions, and it involved no speaking. Absolutely none.
