So, Oswald was definitely not shot in the garage. And once you accept the idea that Ruby didn't do it, that it was an "operation" of law enforcement, then there is no chance they would have done the shooting there. Why? Because it was too risky. Because there was too great a chance that something would go wrong. Remember, in a real shooting, Oswald would have been adversary rather than cohort. And he could have done something to foil it. So, once you drop the "Jack Ruby did it" scenario, there is NO CHANCE that the shooting was real.

But, it would be nice to know when and where they did shoot Oswald because they definitely shot him. There are essentially two possibilities: either they shot him in the PD OR they shot him on the way to the hospital. Take your pick.

For a long time, I have assumed that he was shot in the PD, and that's because of one man, Dr. Fred Bieberdorf.

He lived and practiced right here in Austin, Texas, and he lived to 2009. If I had only known, I could have contacted him. I have been told that this was him:

The Bieb said that when he went into the jail office, which was 2 or 3 minutes after the shooting, that he saw Oswald lying on the ground with his sweater and shirt pulled up and his rib cage exposed, showing the entrance wound. Now, why would anyone have done that? And I don't recall anyone else reporting doing that or seeing that. Just the Bieb. And he said that he thought Oswald might be dead. He said he couldn't detect a heartbeat or respiration. Well, if you have no blood pressure, you're not going to have a pulse wave, even if your heart is contracting. It's the pressure that you're feeling. But, Oswald was definitely alive at that point since we know he reached the Parkland doctors alive, and I do trust them. To me, it seems baffling that an MD would have such trouble determining whether a patient was alive or dead. How could the Bieb not detect any respiration? Oswald had to be breathing if he was still alive, and he was still alive. The Bieb also said that there wasn't any visible blood at all, that the wound looked clean. Well, if that's so, somebody must have cleaned it because there had to be some blood. And they claim that there was a big blood stain on the floor, and the only place that blood could have come out was that entrance wound. So, at this point, all of the Bieb's claims are unsettling. Yeah, that's the word: unsettling. But, let's look at this image again: critically.

First, you don't put any weight, including a man's arm over an abdominal gunshot wound. Didn't a 4th year medical student know that? And what is that white thing?

What is that white thing? Nobody reported putting any kind of dressing over his abdomen. And of course, if you were going to do that, you would lift the clothes and apply the dressing to the skin and then put back the clothes. Putting a dressing over the sweater accomplishes nothing at all. But, what the hell is it? Frankly, I am not certain that any of that is real. I'm not even sure that that's his real hand. It doesn't look. Nothing about the hand looks photographic to me. It looks more like art to me. It's not even anatomically correct. The index finger is too short relative to the middle finger. It's true that on a man, the middle finger is usually longer, but that difference is too great. Compare it to your own hand. And look how weird the thumb is.  It looks more like a link sausage. And what is that dark spot? Is it, dare I say, blood? But, the Bieb said there was no blood. And why would his hand be so white, so pale? Compare it to the other hand:
Notice how the left hand looks real while the right hand does not. They're not even the same size. The right hand is bigger. It doesn't even look like a thumb. This is more JFK assassination photographic bull shit. But, why did they have to bullshitize this? The only reason I can think of is that Oswald wasn't really shot yet, and they had to fake it. And recall, that we never saw Oswald lying on the floor in the jail office. That all could have been faked too.

Let's compare Oswald's right hand in the garage post-shooting with his hand at Parkland in the iconic photo:

So, on the left is the state of Oswald's right hand in the garage before they loaded him, and on the right is him on the stretcher at Parkland. So, how could that come about? You can't tell me that the unconscious Oswald went from doing what we see on the left to doing what we see on the right. How could he possibly do it when he was in the deepest state of unconsciousness and hovering near death?

Then, there is this image of him being loaded. Notice that he doesn't look pale.  His coloring is comparable to the others.

And this being the last photo taken of Oswald alive, and the farthest out from the shooting, you would think he would look extremely pale here, but he doesn't.

Oswald does NOT look pale there. His coloring is comparable to the others. So, how could he have lost so much blood and had zero blood pressure?

I'm not at all sure they have shown us any real and undoctored images of Oswald at Parkland. I should think that he would have looked much worse than any of the images they've shown us.

I'll leave you with this, and keep in mind that Oswald had aortic rupture and so much more:
