So, what would happen in real life? Let's say that Leavelle was hovering over Oswald's body, and he went to pick him up. As soon as he started moving his arm and Oswald's arm went along, he would "remember" (if that was necessary) that he was still handcuffed to Oswald, and he would get out his key and remove the cuffs. What's the alternative? That he would leave the cuffs on, and twist and bend Oswald's arm, as needed, to get his left hand underneath Oswald to lift him? Here is how it began:

So, Leavelle is on Oswald's left side. His right arm is still involved with the subduing of "Ruby". His left arm is going down to Oswald's right arm, which has to be elevated, right? Leavelle's arm can't be long enough to go all the way to the ground, right? So, Oswald's right arm must be meeting him in the space, right? So, what happened next? They don't show us, so we can only surmise it. So, I am going to surmise that Leavelle stepped around to the other side and faced Oswald from the other side, so at least his left arm and Oswald's right arm would be on the same side. That looks like Lowery next to Leavelle, and you'd think that he would have stepped in to lift Oswald on his left side. But Combest said it was he who did it. Combest is next to Lowery, but we can't see his face because it's being covered up by Lowery's face. Plainly seen is the next detective, Buford Beatty. So, Combest was between Lowery and Beatty.

So, here it is again:

So, Leavelle had to step around to the other side of Oswald. Then, presumably, Lowery stepped out of the way, and Combest took the spot on the left side of Oswald, where we presently see Leavelle. So then, Leavelle's left wrist is attached to Oswald's right wrist, and Leavelle goes to lift Oswald, which meant getting his hand underneath him, and he takes Oswald's right wrist with him? And remember that Leavelle demonstrated it in the movie.

Imagine the pain of having your arm underneath your own back while the guy is carrying you. Why wouldn't Leavelle remove the handcuff first? But, was there a handcuff?

That's a bit strange. We seem to be seeing Leavelle's jacket sleeve, his shirt cuff, his wrist, and his hand, but there is no cuff.

That is obviously very weird looking, but how else can we describe it other than what I said? Why is his wrist so long? I don't know. Why is his hand so weird? I don't know. But one thing is for sure: there is no handcuff in sight. Also, we don't see Oswald's right arm anywhere. There is no indication here that they were handcuffed to each other.
