I've long been a fan of Vince Gill because he does it all. He composes beautiful melodies; he plays virtuoso guitar; and he sings very well too. And another thing he does very well is accompany other vocalists. He really knows how to serve the vocalist, to bring out her best, and make her shine. I think he does that better than anybody else. So, Paul Popa and I offer this tribute to Vince Gill, one of his sad country songs, a song of unrequited love, Whenever You Come Around.
