The Warren Commission actually published this:
"MARINA did not know who NIXON was and does not recall OSWALD ever mentioning his name. She did not care who he was but knew she had to act fast. She went to the bathroom and called OSWALD. He came to the bathroom and as he entered she quickly jumped outside the door closing it as she left the bathroom. She forcibly held the door shut by holding on to the knob and bracing her feet against the wall. OSWALD attempted to pull the door open but because of her strength she was able to keep him from leaving the bathroom for a period of about three minutes she believes."
That story is preposterous. And if you don't believe me, just try to act it out with someone. Do it as an experiment. First, if he responded to her call from the bathroom, he would not have entered and walked past her. Most likely, he would have just spoken to her from outside the bathroom, as in, "What is it?" Or maybe, he would have opened the door a little and peaked his head in and asked, "What's up?" But, if he went so far as to enter, he'd have stopped as soon as he saw her. The idea that he would walk past her, so that she could quickly jump outside the door and manage to get the door closed is harebrained. He would not have gone much beyond the threshold of the door. It is preposterous to think otherwise. In other words, I'm telling you that the mechanics of this don't work. It doesn't pass muster. There wasn't sufficient space. And remember, this was the small bathroom of a low-income apartment.
And the idea that Marina could overcome Oswald's strength wrestling with the door is ridiculous. He wasn't a big man, but he was 5'9" and she was around 5'2". And she was pregnant. So, this little pregnant woman struggled with Oswald for 3 minutes in a tug of war? And she won? 3 minutes is the length of a round in boxing.
So, she held out for 3 minutes struggling against him? And then what? Did he come out and say, "Lucky for you, I lost my appetite for killing Nixon"?
Look: the whole thing is just plain preposterous. It is patently absurd. Mature adults shouldn't be making up such stories, and neither should mature adults be believing them. It's just a crock of bull. It's nonsense. It's just plain stupid.
