Why would Oswald use two persons as his alibi (Jarman and Norman) when he knew they wouldn't confirm it? It makes no sense.
But, I'll tell you what else makes no sense: the police hearing him say that- that he got off work at 11:45 like everyone else and spent 45 minutes doing nothing, only to eat his lunch during the Presidential motorcade and thereby miss it- without asking him why. Why? WHY? WHY?
It's not a normal behavior. It would have been an unusual behavior. So, how could they not ask him:
"Were you not interested in seeing the President? If so, why not?"
And how could they not write down his answer? Why isn't it in the notes? It's not in the notes. It's not in the reports. It's not in the testimonies. It isn't anywhere.
Now, I get it that the presumption was that Oswald was really shooting at Kennedy at the time. But, were they sure of that at the first interrogation? Shouldn't they have asked him then? When he told them that he skipped the motorcade to eat lunch, which he had 45 minutes to do before the motorcade, why didn't they ask him to explain himself? It seems like anyone would; that common sense would dictate it. Because: it's a very unusual, atypical, unexpected behavior.
But, it's NOT in the notes, and I think the reason is obvious: it's because Oswald never said he was eating during the motorcade. He said he ate before the motorcade, and then, he was "out with Bill Shelley in front " DURING the motorcade. You see: THEY NEVER HAD ANY REASON TO ASK HIM WHY HE FOREWENT THE MOTORCADE JUST TO EAT BECAUSE HE NEVER SAID HE DID. And that's why it's missing from the notes. It never came up. It was never an issue.
Now read this narrative again from the Warren Report. Notice how it glibly says that Oswald said he was eating during the motorcade without any followup from police as to why he didn't eat during the 45 minute lunch break which preceded the motorcade. How come nobody in the Dallas Police, the FBI, or the Warren Commission had any interest in getting an answer to that question?
It stinks. It absolutely reeks. And Oswald said no such thing. He said he ate before the motorcade, and then he watched the motorcade from the doorway.
