On the right, I moved over the top of Young Lovelady's head to show you how well it fits on Doorman and how easy it was to do.

You notice, of course, the spot of blackness on his forehead beneath his hairline. A mole? A birthmark? We don't see it in Lovelady's other photos, only in the so-called Wedding photo.

So, was it real, and did Lovelady have it surgically removed? If so, I should think the excision of something that big would leave a scar.  

I don't see any scar in his other photos. So, I'm inclined to think he never had such a mole. There has never been any mention of him having such a mole. There has never been any mention of him having surgery. 

So, what is it? I don't know. A photographic artifact?

But, I have been saying for a long time that they took Lovelady's "cap" and moved it over to Oswald, that it's the one thing they did to Lovelady-ify him. And, I continue to stand by that.
