This recording is very special to me, and that's because: I am not the vocalist. My good friend Karen Mitchell is visiting, and I asked her to record a song with me, and she agreed. Karen and I have been doing music together for many years, but this is the first time we have made a recording.

The song is one of the most enduring torch songs from World War II, A Sunday Kind of Love. It was written for the fighting GIs to remind them that good things were waiting for them when they came home. I've seen videos of it in which they show the returning soldier surprise his wife, and the emotion of it is enough to make a grown man cry. So, from 1945, here is A Sunday Kind of Love with my thanks, appreciation, and great respect for her talent: Karen Mitchell.
